Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an already scheduled session, please provide at least 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. You will be charged 100% of the session fee for late cancellations or missed appointments. Receipts for cancellation fees will not be provided.

Payment

At this time, payment is accepted through email money transfer (EMT) only. If possible, please send your payment at the beginning of each session. A receipt will be emailed to you once the session has been conducted and payment is received.

There will be no refunds for services already incurred.

Registered Social Workers (RSW) are authorized medical practitioners and our services can be claimed on your income taxes. Please check with the Canada Revenue Agency or your income tax professional for more information.

Insurance Coverage

Social work and psychotherapy services are not currently covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). You are encouraged to consult directly with your individual insurance provider or employee group benefit plan to determine if you qualify for coverage and reimbursement, prior to engaging in therapeutic sessions.

At this time, I do not offer direct insurance plan billing. Please submit your receipts directly to your insurance plan/company if you qualify for reimbursement.
